Short title 2. Repeal of Act and saving 3. Order to cease to have effect, etc. 5 LAWS OF MALAYSIA Act 734 RESTRICTED RESIDENCE (REPEAL) ACT 2011 An Act to repeal the Restricted Residence Act 1933. [31 December 2011] ENACTED by the Parliament of Malaysia as follows: Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Restricted Residence (Repeal) Act 2011. Repeal of Act and saving 2. (1) The Restricted Residence Act 1933 [Act 377] is repealed. (2) The repeal of the Restricted Residence Act 1933 shall not affect any order issued or made, or action or proceedings taken, under the repealed Act prior to the date of coming into operation of this Act. Order to cease to have effect, etc. 3.
