Application requirements

- The applicant must fill out the application form (Proforma Form) available from the Kelantan Forestry Office and District Forestry Office. - The applicant must register the company with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) and attach it with the application form. - The applicant must also include a copy of the land lot for the factory site. - The applicant must provide a sketch plan of the site location, machine layout plan, and building layout plan when applying. - The applicant must obtain comments and views from agencies such as the Local Authority, Land and District Office, Fire and Rescue Department, Department of Environment, and Department of Occupational Safety and Health, which must be attached with the application form.

New Application Each licence will be issued for a period of 1 year / 12 months and will expire on December 31 of each year. Licence renewal will start on January 1 of the following year. Renewal applications must be submitted to the Forestry Department within 30 days before the licence expiry date. Licence Fees: Sawmill = RM1,000.00 / year Plywood Mill = RM1,500.00 / year Veneer Mill = RM1,500.00 / year Deposit: Sawmill = RM8,000.00 Plywood Mill = RM8,000.00 Veneer Mill = RM8,000.00 Other Fees: - Proforma form fee = RM10.00 - Machinery Fees - Bandsaw = RM300.00 / unit - Crosscut = RM100.00 / unit - Other machines = RM100.00 / unit
