Application requirements

- Bring a copy of the previous year's Trader/Taxidermist Licence - Fill out the application form available on the PERHILITAN website or at the state PERHILITAN licensing counter - Include the following documents with the application form: - Copy of identification card/passport - Recent photograph - Copy of company registration certificate (SSM) - Copy of local authority licence/approval letter - The business must be licensed by PERHILITAN to be valid. - The licence is valid for the period stated on it. - The licence must be displayed prominently at the premises. - The licence is only valid in the state that issued it. - The licence holder must apply for a new business licence 14 days before the expiry date. - The licence is valid for only one business premise as stated. - The licence is non-transferable. - The licence must be shown upon request by enforcement officers. - The licence cannot be altered; a new licence must be printed if details change. - The licence holder must record all transactions in the Wildlife Trader/Taxidermist Register issued by PERHILITAN. - Wildlife acquisition must be from licensed wildlife traders/taxidermists/hunters.
