Application requirements

- Use only the prescribed form. - Application must include: a) 2 passport-sized photos b) 1 copy of Identity Card c) 1 copy of Business Registration or Certificate of Incorporation d) 1 copy of Land Ownership where the farm is located or will be built e) If the land is not owned by the applicant, a written consent from the landowner must be obtained f) 1 layout plan of the pig farm g) 1 copy of MyGAP Certificate (if available) - **Applications for renewal must be submitted at least THREE MONTHS before the expiry date of the current licence. - **Licence holders are subject to the conditions stipulated in the Pig Farming Enactment 1980 and the Pig Farming Licensing Rules (Melaka State) 2014.

Annual Fee based on sow capacity: a) 1 - 50 Sows: RM250.00 b) 51 - 100 Sows: RM500.00 c) 101 - 200 Sows: RM1,000.00 d) 201 - 300 Sows: RM1,500.00 e) 301 - 500 Sows: RM2,000.00 f) Over 500 Sows: RM3,000.00 g) For farmers raising pigs without sows: RM500.00/year VALIDITY PERIOD 1 year, expiring on December 31 of that year
