Application requirements

- Obtain written consent from the employee and submit it to the Director General during inspections. - Keep the consent letter at the employee's workplace. - Provide female employees with a continuous rest period of 11 hours before they can work again. - Female employees working night shifts must be given at least 30 continuous hours of weekly rest. - Continuous night shift employment for female workers is not allowed for more than one month without written consent. - Pay female employees a shift allowance as agreed in the terms of service, with collective agreements not less than the stipulated rates. - Provide safe and comfortable free transportation for female employees to and from work. - If free transportation is not provided, employers must give a reasonable transportation allowance.
