Application requirements
- No symptoms of FMD
- Cattle must be vaccinated for FMD P1 and P2 two weeks before entering Pahang
- Originating from outside active FMD focus areas
- Blood test from MVK Kota Bharu for FMD
- Must be certified free through two negative CFT tests for brucella abortus
- Comply with entry requirements for the requested state
- Permit is valid for one journey only for 5 days from the date of travel
- Health certificate must be obtained in advance from the relevant State Veterinary Director or representative
- Arrival of livestock or materials must be reported to the nearest District Veterinary Office
- Obtain entry permission and comply with entry conditions for the involved state
- Obtain a health certificate from the State Veterinary Director or representative stating that the products/materials are from disease-free farms
- Products/materials to be transferred must be clean and safe for consumption or further processing
