Repeal of the Declaration of an Area in the Bintulu District to be a Federal Port Act 1979 Act 858 5 LAWS OF MALAYSIA Act 858 DECLARATION OF AN AREA IN THE BINTULU DISTRICT TO BE A FEDERAL PORT (REPEAL) ACT 2024 An Act to repeal the Declaration of an Area in the Bintulu District to be a Federal Port Act 1979. [ ] ENACTED by the Parliament of Malaysia as follows: Short title and commencement 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Declaration of an Area in the Bintulu District to be a Federal Port (Repeal) Act 2024. (2) This Act comes into operation on a date to be appointed by the Minister by notification in the Gazette. Repeal of the Declaration of an Area in the Bintulu District to be a Federal Port Act 1979 2. (1) The Declaration of an Area in the Bintulu District to be a Federal Port Act 1979 [Act 217] is repealed. (2) Any orders made under the repealed Act shall, on the date of coming into operation of this Act, cease to have effect.
