Application requirements

- Submit a letter of application and relevant documents: - One (1) application letter (plan purchased from the Melaka State Forestry Department) - One (1) copy of the identity card (individual application) - One (1) copy of the company registration (SSM) (individual application) - Permit holders must submit a written application at least 30 days before the permit expires, including a copy of the original permit. - The land can only be used for the purposes or activities stated in the permit. - Maximum number of workers allowed. - Permit holders must submit a list of all workers (with their identification numbers) to the Director, and no changes can be made to this list without prior approval.

A. New Application Fee:- 1. Usage Permit (Form 4): (a) Research - RM 20.00 per month or part thereof (b) Education and training - RM 20.00 per month or part thereof (c) Recreation - RM 20.00 per month or part thereof (d) Use of Water Resources - RM 10.00 per month or part thereof (e) Vegetable and fodder planting - RM 40.00 per hectare per year or part thereof (f) Establishment of conversion plants - RM 50.00 per hectare per year or part thereof (g) Sub-lease: RM 3.00 per person for a period not exceeding 3 months (h) Establishment of logging infrastructure: (i) Construction of 'kongsi' or workers' houses - RM 150.00 per hectare per year or part thereof (ii) Construction of log yards - RM 150.00 per hectare per year or part thereof B. Renewal Fee:- (a) Research - RM 20.00 per month or part thereof (b) Education and training - RM 20.00 per month or part thereof (c) Recreation - RM 20.00 per month or part thereof (d) Use of Water Resources - RM 10.00 per month or part thereof (e) Vegetable and fodder planting - RM 40.00 per hectare per year or part thereof (f) Establishment of conversion plants - RM 50.00 per hectare per year or part thereof (g) Establishment of logging infrastructure: (i) Construction of 'kongsi' or workers' houses - RM 150.00 per hectare per year or part thereof (ii) Construction of log yards - RM 150.00 per hectare per year or part thereof
