Application requirements

- Complete the application form available on the PERHILITAN website or at the state PERHILITAN licensing counter. - The application form must be accompanied by the following documents: - Copy of identity card/passport - Recent photograph - Copy of company registration certificate (SSM) - Copy of local authority licence/approval letter (PBT) - Present a copy of the previous year's Trader/Taxidermist Licence (for renewal only) - The wildlife business/taxidermy business is only valid when the licence is issued by PERHILITAN. - The business licence is valid for the period stated on the licence. - The licence must be displayed at the premises as specified in the licence in a visible location. - The business licence is only valid in the state that issued it. - The licence holder must apply for a new business licence within fourteen (14) days before the expiry date of the current business licence. - The business licence is only valid for one (1) business premises as stated in the licence. - The business licence is non-transferable. - The business licence must be shown when requested by enforcement officers from PERHILITAN. - The business licence cannot be amended. If there are changes to the details in the licence, a new business licence must be printed after the details are updated. - The licence holder must record all transactions with receipts in the Wildlife Trader/Taxidermist Register issued by PERHILITAN. - Acquisition (purchase) of wildlife must be from licensed wildlife traders/taxidermists/hunters registered with PERHILITAN.
