Private limited companies incorporated under the Companies Act 1965
Application requirements
- Company must be a private limited company
- Must comply with paid-up capital and equity limits (local and foreign)
- Shareholders must not have interests in any other travel agency companies
- Foreign shareholders (foreign companies) must have operated in their home country for at least 3 years
- Company name must reflect tourism business
- Nature of Business in e-Info SSM must state that the business is Tourism Operations and/or Travel Agency Business
- Must be free from fines under the Tourism Industry Act 1992 (Act 482) or the Tourism Vehicle Licensing Act 1999 (Act 594) and outstanding claims in the tourism sector at the Malaysian Consumer Claims Tribunal (TTPM)
