Application requirements

- Submit a letter of application and relevant documents: - One (1) copy of the location plan (plan purchased from the Melaka State Forestry Department) - One (1) copy of the Identity Card (for individual applications) - One (1) copy of the company registration (SSM) (for company applications) - Permit holders must submit a written application at least 30 days before the Road Permit expires, along with a copy of the original permit. - Conditions of the permit include the class of vehicle allowed and responsibility for road repairs if damage occurs.

A. New Application Fee:- Permit for constructing/using forest roads: RM 200.00 per kilometer per year or part thereof B. Renewal Fee:- (i) Permit for constructing/using forest roads: RM 200.00 per kilometer per year or part thereof (ii) Extension for permit: RM 50.00 for 6 months or part thereof * Fee rates are subject to amendments in the Forest Rules (Melaka State) 1996 C. Validity Period:- All permits have a validity period and specific conditions. The State Forestry Director may alter, reduce, or add conditions to the permit upon renewal.
