Application requirements
- Payment of the prescribed fee as stated in the First Schedule.
- Application must be made using Form 9a in the Third Schedule.
- Application must include a site plan, copy of land ownership, company profile (if applicable), and a feasibility study report.
- The feasibility study report must include the proposed mining scheme, start date, mineral extraction schedule, and any other information required by the committee.
- The application must be referred to the committee for recommendations.
- The licence must be applied for by the landowner themselves.
