Public limited companies, private limited companies

Application requirements

- Companies registered with SSM/Local Authority (PBT) are eligible to apply for GBPP. - The paid-up capital of the license holder must be a minimum of RM150,000.00. - The value of products stored within 12 months must be at least RM10,000,000.00. - The GBPP premises must be constructed from strong and durable materials. Access must be limited to one entry/exit. Tanks within the licensed area must be located in an open area within a secure fenced area and marked on the approved plan. - The GBPP premises must have received approval from the relevant authorities. - The type of goods permitted to be stored is limited to petroleum products only. - For GBAP, only public limited companies and private limited companies registered with SSM are eligible to apply. - Must have at least 30% Bumiputera equity. - The paid-up capital of public limited or private limited companies must be at least RM1,000,000.00. - The value of petroleum products stored within 12 months must be at least RM10,000,000.00. - The GBAP premises must be constructed from strong and durable materials. Access must be limited to one entry/exit. Tanks within the licensed area must be located in an open area within a secure fenced area and marked on the approved plan. - The GBAP premises must have received approval from the relevant authorities. - The type of goods permitted to be stored is limited to petroleum products only.

Agency fee breakdown

1) GBPP/GBAP license fee for a period of two (2) years is RM4,800.00. 2) The approval period for GBPP/GBAP license is a maximum of two (2) years.
