Application requirements

- License holders must comply with all laws of LKTN including the Act and regulations. - License holders are only allowed to purchase tobacco according to the licensed type. - License holders are prohibited from purchasing cured tobacco from unlicensed processors without written approval from LKTN. - License holders may only purchase, store, and transport cured tobacco from legitimate sources. - License holders must ensure that every vehicle transporting tobacco on their behalf carries a Transport Permit issued by LKTN. - License holders must apply for a Transport Permit within three (3) working days before the transport date. - License holders must store cured tobacco in the warehouse or factory specified in their license or other locations approved in writing by LKTN. - License holders must display the license at all times in a visible location. - License holders must provide any information and/or records related to their business as required by LKTN.

Annual Fee 1. RM300.00 per year for Malaysian Heat-Processed Cured Tobacco (TAPM) 2. RM100.00 per year for other than Malaysian Heat-Processed Cured Tobacco (TAPM)
