Application requirements

- Obtain prior approval from the Director of Veterinary Services of the supplier's state. - A health certificate must also be obtained from the Director of Veterinary Services of the supplier's state. - The arrival of the livestock must be reported immediately to the Kedah State Veterinary Services Director. - This permit is valid for only 5 days from the date of issuance. - Transferred livestock must have identification tags. - Livestock must be registered under the Cattle Registration Enactment (for cattle/buffalo only) in Kedah. - Vehicles transporting livestock are not allowed to stop at other destinations. - Applications for animal/animal product transfer must be made within 5 working days before the transfer.
