- Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen and a company registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM)
- Origin of raw materials for animal feed or feed additives must be known
- Composition of raw materials for animal feed or feed additives must be known
- Manufacturing, packaging, and labeling of animal feed or feed additives must be known
- Registered under other relevant Acts
- Must not use prohibited substances (antibiotics, hormones, and other chemicals)
- Must comply with other conditions and requirements under the Animal Feed Act 2009
