Charge on the Consolidated Fund 5 LAWS OF MALAYSIA ACT 266 FEDERAL TERRITORY (FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENT) ACT 1982 An Act to authorize payments to be made by the Federation to the State of Selangor in respect of the establishment of the Federal Territory and to provide for other matters connected therewith. [23 February 1982] WHEREAS by an Agreement dated 1 February 1974 relating to the establishment of the Federal Territory signed between the Federation and the State of Selangor it is provided that a financial arrangement be made between the Federation and the State of Selangor; WHEREAS such financial arrangement has been agreed to between the Federation and the State of Selangor; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED by the Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong with the advice and consent of the Dewan Negara and Dewan Rakyat in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Federal Territory (Financial Arrangement) Act 1982. Payments made under financial arrangement 2. (1) The Federation shall pay to the State of Selangor all 6 Laws of Malaysia ACT 266 payments due to be made pursuant to the financial arrangement agreed to between the Federation and the State of Selangor in respect of the establishment of the Federal Territory. (2) Any payment made by the Federation to the State of Selangor relating to the establishment of the Federal Territory before the date of the coming into force of this Act shall be deemed to have been lawfully appropriated and made under this Act. Charge on the Consolidated Fund 3.
