Application requirements

- The applicant must fill out the application form (proforma) available from the Kelantan Forestry Office and District Forestry Office. - The applicant must register the company with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) and attach it with the application form. - The applicant must include a copy of the land lot for the factory site. - The applicant must provide a sketch plan of the site location, machine layout, and building layout when applying. - The applicant must obtain comments and views from agencies such as the Local Authority, Land and District Office, Fire and Rescue Department, Department of Environment, and Department of Occupational Safety and Health, which must be attached with the application form.

New Application Each licence is issued for a period of 1 year / 12 months and will expire on December 31 each year. Renewal of the licence must be submitted to the Forestry Department within 30 days before the expiry date. Licence Fees: Woodworking Factory = RM250.00 / year Furniture Factory = RM200.00 / year Plywood Factory = RM200.00 / year Other Factories = RM200.00 / year Deposit: Woodworking Factory = RM5,000.00 Furniture Factory = RM5,000.00 Plywood Factory = RM5,000.00 Other Factories = RM5,000 Other Charges: - Proforma form fee = RM10.00 - Machinery Fees - Bandsaw = RM300.00 / unit - Crosscut = RM100.00 / unit - Other machines = RM100.00 / unit - Furniture/Plywood Factory Machines - Less than 10 Horsepower (HP) = RM40.00 / unit - Between 10 - 20 Horsepower (HP) = RM60/unit - More than 20 Horsepower (HP) = RM80.00 / unit
