Application requirements
- Submit plans certified by a qualified engineer.
- Application must go through the Pahang Utility Corridor (KUP).
- Obtain road excavation/permit from JKR District.
- Provide utility alignment plans.
- Provide survey plans for Right of Work (ROW) identification.
- Provide utility mapping.
- Provide method statement.
- Provide cross-section drawings.
- Provide Traffic Management Plan (TMP).
- Obtain permit from JKR District before commencing work.
- Submit a bank draft for the required deposit.
- Submit Public Liability Insurance.
- Technical requirements for cable and pipe depth and distance from road surface.
Agency fee breakdown
1. Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) across paved roads - RM6,500 / meter + RM25,000 / pit.
2. Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) along paved road shoulders - RM25,000 / pit.
3. Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) along unpaved road shoulders - RM25,000 / pit.
4. Open excavation on unpaved road shoulders - RM800 / meter. @ RM400 / meter (subject to 50% reduction)
5. Trial Pit excavation - RM5,000 / unit.
6. Pole installation - RM1,000 / unit.
