Application requirements
- Malaysian citizen
- At least 18 years old
- Born in Kedah or one parent born in Kedah
- Rough land plan required
- Schedule 16 form
- If the original applicant is deceased, a letter of consent from the heir must be included for new application
- Applicant must ensure at least two boundary stones are present
- Sale of the business is prohibited

Category (Urban/Town)
1) Residential = RM0.90 per square meter (minimum RM75.00)
2) Business/Enterprise = RM1.50 per square meter (minimum RM150.00)
3) Other purposes = RM0.90 per square meter (minimum RM100.00)
Category (Village)
1) Residential = RM0.45 per square meter (minimum RM35.00)
2) Business/Enterprise = RM0.60 per square meter (minimum RM50.00)
3) Other purposes = RM0.40 per square meter (minimum RM45.00)
Agriculture:
(Rubber/Palm Oil) = RM120.00 for the first hectare or part and RM110.00 for subsequent hectares.
(Fruit Orchards) = RM115.00 for the first hectare or part and RM100.00 for subsequent hectares.
(Vegetable Gardens) = RM113.00 for the first hectare or part and RM100.00 for subsequent hectares.
(Land Livestock) = RM130.00 for the first hectare or part and RM115.00 for subsequent hectares.
(Aquaculture) = RM150.00 for the first hectare or part and RM130.00 for subsequent hectares.
Extraction/Processing and Transfer of Rock Materials = RM150.00 for the first hectare or part and RM130.00 for subsequent hectares.
