Application requirements

- Open to companies registered under the Business Registration Act 1956 (for Peninsular Malaysia) or local authorities (for Sabah, Sarawak, and Federal Territory of Labuan) or companies registered under the Companies Act 2016. - Paid-up capital must be at least RM100,000 for companies registered under the Companies Act 1965/local authorities (for Sabah, Sarawak, and Federal Territory of Labuan) and RM50,000 for companies registered under the Business Registration Act 1956. - At least one director/manager and one staff member dealing with customs must attend a course, pass an examination, and attend an interview set by the department. - Each customs agent is required to submit a security deposit of RM10,000.00 in the form of a bond according to Customs Form No. 6.
