Application requirements

- Individual - Form 4, Schedule Three, Mineral Regulations 2005 (4 copies - original) - Copy of Identity Card - Documents must be bound in sets of 4 for each application - Must carry the licence during mining activities and present it when required - Must pay the applicable royalty under the licence - Must take precautions and use appropriate personal protective equipment - Must have quick access to suitable first aid equipment - Must support walls of any excavation deeper than one meter unless prior written permission is obtained - Must not work after dusk unless prior written permission is obtained - Must not use harmful chemicals without prior written permission - Must not discharge waste from mining activities into any drainage system or stream

Application Fee: · Application form RM 1.00 / piece (4 pieces) · Mining application RM 50.00/application Approval Fee: · Licence preparation RM 100.00 · Licence issuance RM 100.00 Validity Period: Licence: Valid for a period not exceeding one year and cannot be renewed.
