Application requirements

- Company registered under the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) as a private limited company. - Must have been operating in the franchised business for at least three years with three years of current audited accounts. - Ensure company information in the SSM database is updated within the last 6 months. - Must have registered a Trademark or at least submitted an application to register a Trademark with the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO). - Must have a prototype business outlet that has been operating for at least 6 months. - Must have created an operational manual for the franchised business. - Must provide training modules for prospective franchisees according to their roles. - Must provide a sample franchise agreement between the Franchisor and Franchisee according to the Franchise Act (Amendment) 2012 under Section 18. - Must prepare a financial projection for franchisees for a period of five (5) years. - Management accounts of the prototype outlet for at least six (6) months of operation. - Business brochure of the company to be franchised. - Detailed estimate of the initial costs for the business to be franchised. - Proposal of fees to be charged to prospective franchisees and justification for each fee.

Processing fee: RM 50.00 Registration fee (upon approval): RM 1,000.00 Validity: Ends when the company returns the registration or it is canceled by the Registrar. (One-time registration only)
