Application requirements

- The applicant company must submit an official application to the Port Commission of Penang (SPPP) and be registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia. - The applicant company must meet the requirements set by SPPP, including having sufficient employees, not employing foreign workers, submitting a list of equipment used, and complying with conditions set by the port operator, Penang Port Sdn. Bhd. - SPPP will present qualifying applications at the SPPP Board Meeting for approval. - The licence will be issued once all conditions are met. - The licence may be revoked or suspended if the company violates the licence conditions and can only be reinstated once compliance is achieved.
